Thieves set stolen car alight in front of Boggabilla Police Station

Queensland and NSW police are on the hunt for thieves who stole a vehicle from Goondiwindi and set it on fire in front of the Boggabilla Police Station.

A NSW Police Service spokeswoman said the vehicle was stolen in the early hours of Wednesday morning and driven across the border.

“At about 4.30am on Wednesday emergency services responded to a car fire outside a police station on Merriwa St, Boggabilla,” she said.

“The blaze was extinguished and no injuries have been reported.”
