Police appealing to public following massive theft of thousands in equipment at Project St site

Police are appealing to the public following a ‘significant’ amount of property was stolen from a construction site in east Warwick in the past week. Here’s what you need to know.

Police are investigating after reports that a significant amount of property was stolen from a Warwick address in the past week.

A quantity of tools, including cordless power tools, were stolen from a construction site on Project St at an unknown time between 6pm on July 4, and 6am on July 5.

Police are appealing for dashcam or CCTV footage in and around Project St, Warwick between 6pm on July 4 and 6am on July 5 relating to a 'significant' amount of tools stolen from a construction site.

A Warwick police spokesman confirmed the tools were worth a significant amount, estimated at more than $1000.

Police are appealing to vehicles with dashcam or properties with CCTV in the general area around McEvoy St and East St to come forward.
