Rose City residents will be able to indulge in a new restaurant catering to one of Warwick’s most popular cuisines.

It’s been a big few months for new restaurants expanding or opening in the Rose City, with a taste of South Africa and Mexico making their home in Warwick, but a new restaurant promises something different to the great town’s food scene.

Koji Sushi Japanese Restaurant owner and manager Ryan Kim said locals will be unable to beat the fantastic deals, technology and great taste of the shop’s cuisine.

“It’s an exciting time to be expanding to Warwick, I feel like the locals are very warm to us and are excited to expand their tastebuds,” Mr Kim said.

Mr Kim currently operates two other restaurants on the Sunshine Coast, but says regional areas are very receptive to Japanese cuisine and is looking into expanding to other locations in the region.

“There’s a big growing market in regional areas and we hope we can be very successful here, we have great food for great price, we hope people enjoy it.”
Koji Sushi will open at Rose City Shoppingworld on Thursday.
