One of the final retailers that will operate at Warwick’s newest shopping hub can be announced,
The national chain is set to join a star-studded line-up at the location, which features major retail tenants.
The Home & Life precinct on Albion St already has three national tenants which have made their home in the Rose City’s new shopping location, including Cafe 63, Anytime Fitness and BCF.
It can be revealed the newest national chain to join the shopping hub will be Petbarn, a major pet retailer which has more than 140 stores across the country.
The store features pets for sale, alongside food and every toy, accessory and furniture your furry friend could need.
Colliers head of retail leasing Queensland Will Goldsworthy said it was great to get the national pet retailer into the centre.
Mr Goldsworthy said the store was expected to open in late October.
The pet store giant will be a prominent sight at the Albion St location, with its yellow exterior sure to catch the eye.
Leased by Colliers, the Home & Life centre has more than 60 car parks and dual street entry/exit for ease of traffic flow.
Colliers agent Marlon Crawford said in July residents have been “crying out” for this sort of development, with many residents calling the company up in order to figure out what will be set to go there.
“The Southern Downs is a growing region, and Warwick is the administration hub, this project caters massively to not just the community, but the surrounding communities as well,” Mr Crawford said.
“The locals have been crying out for this sort of lifestyle project, with Toowoomba an hour away, there really wasn’t anything to cater to the needs for locals.”
There is one location at the centre to be announced in the coming weeks, so expect updates to come.
