Queensland, you have some adorable dogs, but now it’s time to decide who has the cutest pooch in the state.

We called on Queenslanders to repay the love and affection that pets constantly give us, by nominating your perfect pup in this year’s cutest dog competition – and you didn’t disappoint.

After our inbox was flooded by well over a thousand photos of your gorgeous doggos, tough decisions were made as we narrowed down the nominees to a selection of finalists.

From golden retrievers with joyful grins, to smaller dogs with eyes as large as their personalities, this year’s finalists have a bit of everything.
