Victim of horror Redlands crash identified as Mersina Axiom, 36

The victim of a tragic fatal crash southeast of Brisbane has been identified a mother-of-three who was the star manager of a tupperware distributorship and a talented jewellery designer.

A WOMAN killed in a horror Redland Bay crash has been identified as mother-of-three Mersina Axiom.

The 36-year-old star manager at a Brisbane tupperware distributorship was driving along Serpentine Creek Rd at 11pm on Friday when she was hit by an out-of-control ute.

Mersina Axiom, 36, was killed in the Serpentine Creek Rd crash on Saturday night.

It is understood the ute veered into the wrong lane after it was hit from behind by an allegedly speeding Subaru sedan.

Ms Axiom also owned a jewellery line where she sold her wares at markets and donated her proceeds to charities.

Her friend and colleague, Rebecca Lock, said she will be remembered as a loving mother and friend.

“She did everything for anybody and never expected anything in return, she just had the biggest heart,” she said.

“She was always willing to help anybody, she treated my kids like her own kids, she was a beautiful mum.”

Ms Lock said she will remember her friend with a gift given to her by Ms Axiom only two days ago.

“She had a book printed for me only two days ago and it was called reasons why we love you and the whole book is about the two of us,” she said.

Ms Axiom previously worked as a resource manager for Bears of Hope in Sydney, which offers pregnancy and infancy loss support.

She will be remembered as a generous woman willing to help anybody no matter the circumstances, Ms Lock said.
