Three teenage girls have livestreamed the moment they stole a football coach’s car and took it on a joyride across Brisbane’s north.

The footage captures the girls driving towards the Gateway Motorway in the stolen car.

“Oh it’s a 90 zone… yeah bah,” one of the girls is heard saying in the footage.

The car was allegedly stolen while its owner, football coach Craig Pendlebury was coaching an Under 16s AFL team at the Kedron Lions Anderson Oval.

The girls are reportedly 15 years old and attend schools in the area.

Mr Pendlebury alleged that the girls took the keys from his bag on the sidelines while his back was turned about 5.30pm.

“The car was locked, the keys were hidden in the bag,” he said.

“They decided to ruffle through the bag and take the car.”

Mr Pendlebury said that one of his sons attempted to chase the car down on foot, but was unsuccessful.

“It’s pretty harrowing,” he said.

“A lot of the boys knew the girls, they were tiktoking and snapchatting and whatnot.”

The car in question – a white Toyota Hilux with registration 982 REGS - is still missing, although the girls involved have reportedly told others that they plan to return it.

Police have confirmed to The Courier-Mail that they are aware of the incident and are investigating.
