Woman seriously injured after car crash near Peachester, Sunshine Coast

Three people, including a seriously injured woman, are being rushed to hospital after a head-on crash in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

A woman in a serious but stable condition has been rushed to hospital with a critical care unit following a head-on car crash in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Tuesday morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said three crews arrived at a two-vehicle and trailer crash along Commissioners Flat Rd near Peachester at 9.19am on Tuesday.

The spokeswoman said a woman in her 60s with chest and arm injuries was being transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The spokeswoman said the woman was being attended to by a critical care unit.

A woman is in a serious but stable condition following a crash on Commissioners Flat Rd in Peachester on February 21.

She added that two other patients were taken to hospital in a stable condition.

A Queensland Police spokesman said police attended the scene along Commissioners Flat Rd after a head-on collision between two vehicles.
