Top pilates instructor for the Sunshine Coast crowned after two rounds of voting

The results are in after more than 70 pilates instructors were nominated. See who readers crowned as the Sunshine Coast’s best pilates instructor.

Celia Day from Align by Celia was voted by readers as the best pilates instructor on the Sunshine Coast.

After more than 70 pilates instructors were nominated the results are in for who readers have voted as the Sunshine Coast’s best.

The winner of our coast-wide search was Celia Day from Align by Celia, who garnered 42 per cent of the total votes in the final top ten round.

According to her website, the business was a passion project for the instructor for more than seven years.

“My wellness journey started in my early 20s, when I was a full-time registered nurse living and breathing the hustle of Melbourne life,” it read.

“This very quickly led me down a path of burnout and fatigue and heightened my anxiety tenfold.

“Within this time I discovered reformer pilates, and I can confidently say - it saved me.”

The website goes on to tell how Celia took a leap of faith in 2016, by packing up her life into her car and relocating to the Sunshine Coast.

“My goal is to provide my clients and my community with a safe, loving space where everyone can feel welcome, supported, and comfortable being themselves,” she said.
