Southbound lanes of the Bruce Hwy at the Sunshine Coast have re-opened after a vehicle crashed and rolled over shortly before 1pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 12.50pm at the Bruce Hwy southbound at Coochin Creek, north of the Roys Rd exit, where a car crashed and rolled.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said the road was reopened as of 3pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said two people were taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
“A female in her late teens was transported with a head, back, and shoulder injury, while a male in his 20s was also transported with neck and back pains,” she said.
“Both are in stable conditions.”
A rescue helicopter was initially tasked to the scene, but was stood down.
The Bruce Hwy was closed for about two hours before re-opening, although slight delays are expected in the area.
