Teen dead after crash at Eenie Creek Rd, Noosaville

A teenage motorcyclist has died after he collided with a car on a busy Noosa road on Friday afternoon.

A teenage motorcyclist has tragically died after he was seriously injured in a crash with another car in Noosaville on Friday afternoon.

A Queensland Police spokesman said Initial investigations indicated a motorbike and a Mazda 2 hatchback crashed on Eenie Creek Road near Reef Street around 3.40pm.

“The motorbike rider, a 19-year-old Doonan man, died at the scene,” a spokesman said.

“The 23-year-old female driver of the Mazda was not injured in the crash,” he said.

All lanes in all directions on Eenie Creek Rd were closed and investigation was underway on Friday evening.

Police urged anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam or CCTV vision is urged to contact police.
