WHISPER-QUIET comfort, luxurious finishes and sensible styling … it was an unusual fit for an extreme big-wave rider.
Sunshine Coast-based big-wave rider Mark Visser has jumped ship from Lexus for a hairy-chested Jeep.
Back in July Visser was singing the praises of Lexus when pictured with a V8-powered IS F at La Balsa Park, but today he will officially become a Jeep ambassador when he is flown to the Mornington Peninsula in front of more than 5000 people at the Portsea polo tournament.
Visser has conquered some of the world's most challenging surf breaks, and was the first person to successfully ride the infamous Jaws break in Maui at night.
"Pushing the boundaries and trying extraordinary things motivates me daily, I'm so excited to be aligning with Jeep who are providing thrilling new platforms for me to push the boundaries," Visser said.
