2025 HART Premier Netball League live stream: Round 5, First Nations Round 6

A big weekend of HART Premier Netball League action has been capped off by three First Nations Round matches. Watch the round 6 replays here.

Goal shooter Kaylin van Gruenen has scored 50 points to lead Bond University Bull Sharks to a 71-58 win over the Brisbane South Wildcats.

Incredibly van Gruenen only shot at 79 per cent but the sheer volume of the points she scored reflected the dominance of an in-form Bull Sharks side who couldn’t be stopped.

Centre Maddison Davies and goal keeper Georgia Feeney were among the best for the Wildcats while across the board Bond were strong.

The Sunshine Coast Thunder’s 55-46 win over the Titans was Gold Coast’s first loss of the season.

Sunshine Coast led by just two points at the end of the first quarter and it got within two in general play again throughout the game before the Thunder put Gold Coast at arms length in the last.

The Kedron-Wavell Cougars beat the Ipswich Jets 59-53.

The Jets managed to hang around to test the Cougars and while Elsa Sandholt was a good target up front, Ipswich suffered from poor communication at times while feeding the circle.

Queensland’s top netballers are set to back it up with a second game in as many days on Sunday.

The huge weekend of HART Premier Netball League action will continue with three live streamed clashes exclusively on KommunityTV from Nissan Arena.

On the Show Court, the Cougars take on the Jets from 4pm before the Wildcats face the Bull Sharks at 6pm.

Meanwhile the Gold Coast Titans will battle the Sunshine Coast Thunder on Court 1 from 4pm.

ROUND 5 REPLAYS

Brisbane South Wildcats and Gold Coast Titans celebrated strong but very different victories in Saturday night’s HART Premier Netball League clashes.

The two matches ended as vastly different scorelines come the final whistles, with the Wildcats thumping Moreton Bay 78-47 and the Titans securing a tight 61-52 win over Carina Leagues.

Georgia Lindsay was the star in Brisbane’s big win, finishing with 30 goals, while Josie Bingham notched up 18 in the Titans victory.

Carina’s Charlie Preston was the top scorer for the match with 23 goals.

The special opportunity to represent her culture in a dedicated round is not lost on Brisbane South Wildcats star Georgia Lindsay.

Lindsay, along with teammate Brook Lacey, will be one of several Indigenous players taking to the court as the HART Premier Netball League celebrates its First Nations Round this weekend.

And it will feature has part of a bumper weekend of live streamed Sapphire division netball on KommunityTV.

Two Round 5 matches on Saturday plus another three on Sunday for First Nations Round will be exclusively broadcast from Nissan Arena.

This year's competition is full of First Nations talent and Black Swans representatives such as Cougars star Lily Cubby, Jayden Molo for the Bull Sharks, Tigers talent Maryke Babia and Wildcats duo Lindsay and Lacey.

Lindsay (Gudjal) and Lacey (Ewamian) were excited for the upcoming round.

“Taking part in First Nations round means a lot to me, it’s really special that it’s being recognised and celebrated more and more,” Lindsay said.

“There’s so much support and respect from teammates, clubs, opposition, coaches, supporters and so on.”

Like many of the teams this weekend the Wildcats will be donning special bibs and uniforms acknowledging first nations artwork.

In the Super Netball competition, Sunshine Coast Lightning star Leesa Mi Mi (Wakka Wakka) is the only Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander across eight teams – just as her sister Jemma was years earlier.

Lindsay, who played a key role for the title-winning Queensland First Nations team in 2024, said while representation at the elite level is small, there are plenty of Aboriginal talents rising through the ranks.

“I was super shocked last year when we all came together, trialled and played between Ruby and Sapphire,” she said.

“It’s growing and expanding so much which is cool to see and be a part of.

“Playing in that side was an unreal experience for myself, obviously to get the win was amazing but the camaraderie and team environment was very special.”

Lindsay is a Toowoomba product that only joined the Wildcats this season after previously standing out for the Darling Downs Panthers in the HPNL Ruby division.

The Wildcats have split their results this season with two wins and two losses but Lindsay said her side were looking forward to their weekend matches against newcomers Moreton Bay and heavyweights Bond University.

“We’re coming off a tough result against Gold Coast so we need to come together as a team and stick to our game plan as Moreton Bay come in as an unknown side,” she said.

“We want to come out firing early and we’ll need to get our energy back up again for Sunday’s game against Bond.”

Live stream action begins on Saturday with the Wildcats taking on the Pulse and the Tigers facing the Titans.

Then, on Sunday, the Titans are back in action against the Thunder, the Wildcats battle the Bull Sharks and the Cougars square off against the Jets.
