As a destination lined with pristine beaches and award-winning cafes, the Sunshine Coast has always been a hotspot for influencers and content creators.

They can often be found clinking cocktails at the region’s newest restaurants, filming their latest DIY renovation hack or grabbing brekky by the beach before a photo shoot.

While some became famous after featuring on a reality television show, many of the Sunshine Coast’s influencers put in the hard yards to grow their online communities while working normal day jobs.

3. Renee Herbert (@reneeherbert —)

Followers: 1.7m on Instagram, 1.2m on Tik Tok

Renee Herbert is a successful model and influencer who grew up on the Sunshine Coast and went to school at Unity College in Caloundra.

Alongside one of her triplets Elisha, Renee enjoys creating videos for Tik Tok and YouTube where they answer questions about their life, do clothing hauls, makeup videos and travel vlogs.

Renee and Elisha told the Sunshine Coast Daily in 2018 how they never expected their following to grow as it has.

“Everything happened pretty fast so now we’re just going with it, having fun and working,” they said.

“We’ve always wanted to travel and now it’s a part of our job to travel.”
