Sunshine Coast traffic: Woman serious but stable after crashing into wall in Buderim

Paramedics rushed a young woman to hospital after she crashed into the entrance of a house and was trapped inside the car on the Sunshine Coast.

Emergency services rushed to a home in Buderim after a car crashed into a wall.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were called to Jorl Court about 10.10pm on Thursday.

A woman and a man, both in their 20s, were travelling inside a green Nissan Pulsar when they crashed into the entrance of the house.

The woman driver was trapped inside the car and two Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews helped free her.

A QFES spokeswoman said firefighters were set to use hydraulic cutting tools and within 15 minutes she was out of the car.

The woman suffered facial injuries and back pain and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A critical care paramedic was on-board.

The man was uninjured.

Police also attended the crash and along with QFES made sure the scene was safe.
