A video has emerged online from the weekend showing Sunshine Coast Police and a helicopter raiding a home where it will be alleged they found dangerous drugs.
Sunshine Coast Police have charged a man after a Mooloolaba drug raid.
A video was posted to an Instagram page on Monday morning.
It was captioned “couldn’t wipe those five stars off”.
The video shows a police team outside a home and a helicopter near by.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman later confirmed the incident.
“Police attended a home in Mooloolaba around 3.20pm on Sunday, March 30, in relation to an arrest warrant and search warrant regarding drug offences,” she said.
“A 31-year-old Mooloolaba man has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
“He is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on April 17.”
