Sunshine Coast grandmother Sandra Lea Pearce, owner of Brady’s fruit Palmwoods, remembered following death
A beloved Sunshine Coast grandmother and well known hinterland community fruit shop owner has been remembered for serving locals with a beautiful, friendly, and kind smile.

A beloved Sunshine Coast grandmother and well known hinterland community fruit shop owner has been remembered for serving locals with a beautiful, friendly, and kind smile.
Tributes are flowing for Sandra Lea Pearce, owner of Brady’s fruit Palmwoods, following her death earlier this month.
Brady’s Fruit Shop is a locally owned and operated fruit and vegetable store. They also offer fresh flowers.
Mrs Pearce’s daughter-in-law, Tayla Pearce, shared a tribute on social media, saying Mrs Pearce passed away on August 9.
“Loving Wife of Colin. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Brendan, Matt and Tayla. Loved Grandma of Hallie and Johnny,” she said.
“Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of Sandra’s life to be held at the Gregson and Weight chapel, 34 national park road Nambour, on Tuesday August 27th 2024 at 11am.
“Sandra would love everyone to wear colour, black wasn’t her thing!
“Sandra would want as many people as possible to celebrate her life.”
Other Sunshine Coast locals also shared touching tributes.
“So sad she was such a lovely person was always greeted with a smile,” Sherrin Spencer said.
“I’m sorry to hear this very sad news,” Samantha Jane said.
“Sandra was a lovely lady to chat to while shopping at Brady’s. Sending you all love at this very hard time.”
“I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. Sandra was always so beautiful with customers. So sorry for your loss Brady family,” Lisa Weir said.
“Sandra was always such a friendly, kind smile whenever we shopped at Brady’s.
“Praying for you all at this sad time.”
Ann Walters said she was incredibly sorry for the family’s loss.
“Sandra always made time to chat with me,” she said.
