A beloved Sunshine Coast man has been remembered as a “super dad” to three beautiful children after tragically dying in a motorcycle crash at the weekend.
Blake Brydon died after a motorcycle crash at Peregian Springs on Saturday night, August 17.
Police said initial investigations suggested the motorcycle was travelling north along Sunshine Coast Motorway when it left the road and struck a light pole near the Peregian Springs Dr, Emu Mountain Rd roundabout.
Mr Brydon, a 34-year-old Wurtulla man, died at the scene.
His finance of more than five years, Brittany Wise, has paid tribute to her partner.
“Blake our forever loved superman Dad,” she said online.
“(He) left behind his mother, partner and three beautiful children.
“Any donations to ease the financial stresses during this hard time would be much appreciated.”
Rebecca-Anne Fowler, a friend, also shared a tribute on social media.
“Mate I’m lost for words,” she said.
“I remember when you said you hoped you would go doing what you loved but it's just too soon mate.
“I’ll forever miss our banter bro. Rest in peace mate.”
Zach Mooney also shared a heartfelt tribute for his friend on social media.
“Fly high my friend Blake Brydon,” he said.
“Great friend, great Scaffy (sic) my heart goes out to your whole family.
“Rest in peace my brother.
“Ride the highway in the sky.”
Witnesses or anyone with further information or dashcam vision on the crash are urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
