A man has died after a motorcycle crash on the Sunshine Coast Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to a motorcycle crash on the Sunshine Motorway at Peregian Springs at about 9.40pm.
Police said initial investigations suggest the motorcycle was travelling north along Sunshine Coast Motorway when it left the road and struck a light pole near the Peregian Springs Drive, Emu Mountain Rd roundabout.
The rider, a 34-year-old Wurtulla man, died at the scene.
Witnesses or anyone with further information or dashcam vision are urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
