A woman has been taken to hospital in what has been a busy afternoon for crashes in Coolum.

Paramedics were called to Noonameena Court and Toolga Street, Mount Coolum, at 3.03pm on Thursday for a two-vehicle crash.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a woman in her 20s was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition with neck pain.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the crash involved a blue sedan and white hatchback, with one vehicle failing to give way while turning into Noonameena Court.

Shortly after, at about 4pm, a multi-vehicle crash was reported on the Sunshine Motorway at Coolum Beach.

Both police and ambulance spokesmen said crews were not required.

However, the incident, at the roundabout connecting Yandina Coolum Road, is reported to be impacting on traffic with lane or lanes reduced.
