Sunshine Coast breaking news: Motorcycle crashes, man falls through roof

Emergency services have been busy after four men were rushed to hospital with injuries after multiple motorcycle crashes on the Sunshine Coast plus a serious incident when a man fell through a roof.

Four men have been rushed to hospital with injuries after multiple motorcycle crashes on the Sunshine Coast today and a serious incident where a man fell through a roof.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said two motorcyclists were transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital this morning after a crash on Commissioners Flat Rd, Peachester, at 9.35am.

She said they transported a 26-year-old man with hip injury and lower back pain and a man in his 50s with a shoulder injury.

At 10.48am there was another motorcycle crash down an embankment on Maleny Stanley Rover Rd at Booroobin.

An ambulance spokeswoman said he was assessed on scene for a shoulder injury but was stable.

“It was a single-vehicle crash he’s come off the bike,” she said.

There was another motorcyclist who crashed on Obi Obi Rd, at Mapleton, this afternoon at 3.24pm.

An ambulance spokeswoman said it was a single-vehicle crash and a man in his 20s suffered a head injury.

He was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Paramedics were on scene and took a male with a shoulder injury in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after reportedly falling through a roof at a private address at 10.08am.
