The 2021 Coast to Coast Dragon Boat Festival has reached new lengths this weekend as participants returned to Lake Kawana for day three of the action on Mother's Day.

Hundreds of participants from 27 clubs across the east coast made the trip to the Sunshine Coast to compete in this year's event.

Athletes of all ages competed in the 2km, 1km, 500m and 200m races on Sunday, to the delight of the crowds gathered along the shores of Lake Kawana.
