Senior QAFL and QAFLW head coaches have named their side’s greatest ball winner from the opening rounds of the competition. See the full list of standouts.

The opening seven rounds of the QAFL and QAFLW season are in the books as we reveal our next instalment of who the senior coaches have highlighted as their side’s ‘greatest ball winner’.

Each week, we will reveal which player from each team stood out across the pre-season and through the opening rounds, with the best ball user and most x-factor to be uncovered in the coming weeks.

Maroochydore, Ben Jones: Josh Wagner, a name that’s hard to go past. Seems to have the ball all the time and it’s a matter of if he wants it, he’ll go and get it.

Morningside, Paul Egan: Darcy Cameron-Reeves

Maroochydore, Dave Hume: Sara-Jane O‘Grady, The Roos 2023 vice-captain has already been labelled as a player to watch with her constant pressure and presence around the footy.
