Junior football talents from across Queensland have descended on the Sunshine Coast for the 2023 Football Queensland Junior Cup at Maroochydore.
Football Queensland’s Central Coast Region General Manager Jordie Gerbes and Football and State Technical Director Gabor Ganczer said the event was a huge success.
“The 2023 FQ Junior Cup has wrapped up at Maroochydore FC after three huge days of action, with the second edition of the tournament welcoming over 78 teams from across the state including sides from all five regional FQ Academy centres,” they said.
“The skills of some of Queensland’s best young footballers were on display as champions were crowned and families in attendance soaked up the atmosphere.
“Congratulations to the following winners and well done to all players, coaches and referees on a fantastic tournament.”
Boys Gold Cup: Gold Coast Knights F.C.
Girls Gold Cup: Sunshine Coast Wanderers Football Club
Boys Silver Cup: Moreton Bay United FC
