A Sunshine Coast shopping centre has been evacuated early this morning following a small fire.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said they were called to a small fire at a shopping centre on Ann St at Nambour at 6.50am.
He said it was the fridge display and that there was little damage.
The fire was out within 15 minutes.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the shopping centre was evacuated but was scheduled to reopen as per usual business this morning.
A QAS spokeswoman said no one needed treating on scene.
Traffic delays as truck flips on hinterland road
Police are directing traffic after a truck crashed and flipped on a windy hinterland road.
Queensland Police and Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews on are on the scene of a single vehicle truck crash at Maleny, on Landsborough Maleny road.
A QFES spokesman said they were called to the scene of the crash at 8.45am.
He said a truck crashed and has landed on its side and gone down an embankment.
The driver was uninjured and able to free himself.
Police are redirecting traffic. Delays are expected.
Tuesday – Garbage truck erupts in flames in early morning horror
A garbage truck has become fully engulfed by fire on the Sunshine Coast early this morning.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said crews arrived on scene of a garbage truck fire at 6am.
The truck was a Bli Bli Rd, Bli Bli.
She said they had the fire under control by 6.08am, and completely extinguished by 6.30am.
The Nambour fire station is just up the road from where it happened.
Queensland Police were also on scene and are investigating.
No one was injured.
