Emergency services are responding to reports of a male hiker has fallen down a mountain and become stuck while climbing in a group of three on the Sunshine Coast.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said they had one crew on scene of a rescue at the Glass House Mountains, Mt Beerwah, 7.50am, Saturday morning.
She said a group of three hikers were climbing the mountain when one “fell down the mountain” and “needed assistance”.
Paramedics are also on scene.
A QAS spokesman said they were called at 7.29am to reports of the hiker falling down a rock scramble.
He said the hiker had minor injuries to his wrist.
Paramedics have transported the man to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
