Queensland no new Covid cases but at least 10 flights into Sunshine Coast are cancelled
At least 10 flights that were due to touch down at Sunshine Coast Airport from Sydney and Melbourne this weekend have been cancelled.

Flights into Sunshine Coast Airport from Sydney and Melbourne have been cancelled as southern states continue to battle Covid outbreaks.
According to Sunshine Coast Airport’s website, eight flights that were due to touch down at Marcoola on Saturday have been cancelled.
A further two flights have been cancelled from Sydney that were due to land on Sunday.
New South Wales was yet to release its overnight statistics however the case numbers linked to the Bondi cluster surpassed 1000 on Friday.
Victoria has recorded 19 new locally acquired Covid-19 cases on Saturday as the number of public exposure sites ballooned to more than 160 overnight.
There was relief for Queensland as it recorded no new locally-acquired Covid cases today however the state races to contain twin Delta outbreaks.
One overseas acquired case was detected in hotel quarantine.

According to Queensland Health’s website, the Sunshine Coast has 10 active cases of the virus with people being treated at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
