Seasons Birtinya apartments snapped up after developer Cube releases first 25 properties

Off-the-plan apartments targeted at Sunshine Coast’s first home buyers and investors were snapped up fast with $16m worth of sales in four weeks.

Cube Developments has sold all 25 apartments in its first release for Seasons at Birtinya.

With price tags starting from $499,000, every off-the-plan apartment at a new Birtinya project targeting first home buyers and investors has sold.

Cube Developments sold 25 apartments in four weeks – totalling about $16m – as part of the first release of its $102m Seasons Birtinya complex launch.

Director Scott Juniper said the project was aimed to address shortages of affordable properties across the Sunshine Coast and to provide more options for first home buyers.

The Cottee Parker-designed complex has two and three-bedroom apartments priced from $499,000.

McNab Constructions is building the eight-storey complex with 146 units.

It is expected to be completed in late 2023.

Mr Juniper said they received strong uptake from first home buyers and investors.

“Birtinya is really starting to come into its own; residents will enjoy waterfront vistas, beach access is just moments away and as it is a relatively new suburb, it has fantastic infrastructure to cater to demand,” Mr Juniper said.

The complex will feature outdoor barbecue and gathering spaces, private dining room, lounging areas, sun decks, a 25-metre lap pool, fully equipped gym, yoga studio, spa and sauna.

“Purchasers have also been eager to secure something in today’s market as opposed to bidding it out at auction and being overpriced,” Mr Juniper said.

“A perfect example is the latest Birtinya home that saw 16 bidders partake in front of a packed street.”

The project will also feature large-scale public art by Timothy Birch Studio.

Seasons by Cube will launch its second release in late September.
