Firefighters are cutting a person out of a car following a two-vehicle crash on a major Sunshine Coast road.
One fire crew was called to the Nambour Connection Rd in Nambour just after 5pm today, May 7, following reports of the two-car and bicycle crash.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said firefighters were using cutting equipment to free one person “encapsulated” in one of the vehicles and who could not open the door.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were looking over three people, a female with neck and chest pain, a male with knee pain and a third uninjured person.
All three were in a stable condition.
One stable patient was transported to Nambour Hospital and one stable patient was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after the two-vehicle and bicycle incident on Nambour Connection Road at 4.46pm.
