Emergency services rushed to a Sunshine Coast hinterland road after one vehicle rolled and another crashed as traffic began to bank up.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said firefighters were called to a vehicle that was on its roof about 6.10am today, November 21, at Landsborough Maleny Rd in Maleny.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were looking over one woman, who was not trapped in the vehicle, who was experiencing hip pain.

The fire spokeswoman said a second crash occurred as the traffic began to “queue” at the incident.

Emergency services had closed the road and it has since reopened.

A police investigation continues.

Tuesday morning’s incident followed a crash on Connection Rd in Glenview about 9.30pm yesterday, November 20.

Emergency services also closed that road after a single vehicle hit a power pole.

The fire spokeswoman said Energex was requested because of low-hanging power lines following the crash.

A 62-year-old Imbil woman also died in a horror crash at Belli Park yesterday, November 20, after the car she was driving hit a tree at Eumundi Kenilworth Rd.
