A Noosa nightclub owner who allegedly tried to bring six bags of cocaine into his own club has been fined for breaching his bail.
Police allege Shea Daniel Fox was found carrying six bags of cocaine on him as he tried to enter The Rolling Rock Bar in Noosa Heads on February 26.
The 29-year-old is the co-owner of the Hastings Street club.
It’s alleged the bags weighed just over 7g and he was charged with possessing a dangerous drug exceeding Schedule 3.
He has not yet entered a plea to that charge.
Mr Fox faced Noosa Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 20, after he breached his bail.
Police prosecutor Alison Johnstone said Mr Fox had failed to report to police, as part of his bail conditions, on June 28 but did attend the station later the same day.
Mr Fox said he was “20 minutes late” to arrive at the station and pleaded guilty to the bail breach.
Magistrate Maxine Baldwin fined Mr Fox $100.
“Make sure you come on time next time, the best thing to do is in the morning because your day gets taken away,” she said.
Mr Fox will next appear in Noosa Magistrates Court on August 31.
