Obi Obi tractor rollover leaves woman trapped

A woman who was trapped under a tractor at a rural Sunshine Coast property has been left seriously injured after reportedly being trapped for almost two hours.

A woman has been flown to hospital after she was freed from under a tractor which rolled at an Obi Obi property on Tuesday afternoon.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they were called to the scene at Baxter Creek Rd at 2.35pm Tuesday, May 9 to reports an adult female was trapped.

The woman was understood to have been freed about two hours after the incident was first reported.

A LifeFlight rescue helicopter arrived on scene and remained on standby as emergency crews attempted to free her.

The ambulance service spokeswoman said the woman was in a serious but stable condition and was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said three fire crews arrived on scene and stabilised the tractor using airbags.
