Nirimba police pursuit: Jai Dylan Clark arrested after alleged evade
More details have emerged about a young Sunshine Coast man who allegedly used a replica revolver in a robbery before evading police around an estate until his arrest.

A young Nambour man has been remanded into custody after he allegedly used a replica revolver in an armed robbery before taking police on a chase around Caloundra West.
Jai Dylan Clarke, 20, was arrested near the Sunshine Coast University Hospital about 3pm on Sunday, July 25 2022 following an alleged armed robbery with a replica revolver in Buddina.
Police sources said officers allegedly located Mr Clarke driving a black 2012 Volkswagen Golf a short time later in Nirimba near Caloundra West, which prompted officers to follow and disable the vehicle.
It’s alleged Mr Clarke had been driving at 40km/h on two damaged tyres in the last five minutes of the pursuit before he dumped the car and was arrested.
The 20-year-old Nambour man faced Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday July 25, 2022 on nine charges including two counts of going armed to cause fear, armed robbery, evasion, dangerous operation of a vehicle and failing to provide a specimen on breath.
Defence lawyer Rod Morgan said there would be no application for bail, with Magistrate Graham Hillan adjourning the matter to September 16, 2022.
Mr Clarke was remanded into custody.
