Nambour man Daniel Joseph Faull pleads guilty to using stolen bank card to buy McDonald’s
A 39-year-old Nambour man decided to buy some Macca’s with a woman’s stolen bank card only an hour after it was brazenly taken during a car break-in.

A hungry Nambour man was busted using a woman’s stolen bank card at McDonald’s only an hour after it was pried out of a locked car.
Daniel Joseph Faull was found with the bank card on September 21 after police traced it to a purchase at the fast food shop in Nambour about 7am.
Police prosecutor Lee Allen said the victim had reported it stolen on September 21 after she discovered her locked car had been broken into at 6am the same day.
Nambour Magistrates Court heard unknown offenders smashed through a window and stole her gym bag which had clothes and cards inside.
CCTV footage revealed Faull and another man bought coffee and food with the stolen card at McDonald’s for $11.70.
The court heard he attempted to use the card on two other occasions but was unsuccessful.
Magistrate Rod Madsen said he was “most unhappy” how Faull had brazenly used the card only an hour after it was taken from the victim’s car.
Faull pleaded guilty to fraud and was fined $650 with a conviction recorded.
