Man in critical condition after alleged stabbing, car crash at Noosaville

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was found with an alleged stab wound at the scene of a car crash at Noosa, with police investigating its circumstances.

A man is fighting for life in hospital after he was allegedly stabbed and found at a car crash in Noosaville.

Police say emergency crews rushed to Gympie Tce and Thomas St late on Monday night, April 1, following reports a man was allegedly stabbed.

It’s understood a 31-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were found at the scene of a car crash, with the man suffering from a serious wound to his chest.

A Queensland Police spokesman said the man was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital and was currently in a critical but stable condition.

Investigators understand the pair were known to each other.

As of Wednesday morning, April 3, no charges had been laid and the investigation remains ongoing, with witnesses urged to come forward and speak to police.
