A man is dead after his car drove into a tree near Lake Cootharaba on Saturday morning.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed the man’s body was discovered the wreck on Lake Flat Road about 11.05am.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police were called to the scene under lights and sirens and were controlling traffic at the scene, but there were few other vehicles around.
