Two men charged with the alleged murder of Currimundi woman Feebie McIntosh have been mentioned in court, with one appearing for the first time in prison greens while another faces more charges.

Narangba man Bradley Ian Cotten, 30, showed his face in court via videolink in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday, July 29 2022, where he is charged with murder along with co-accused Wurtulla man Brandon Grant, 30.

Mr Cotten could be seen sporting prison greens which included a jumper with a freshly shaved balding head.

He sat at a desk in prison while solicitor Belinda Robinson appeared on his behalf, seeking for a date on the brief of evidence.

Police prosecutor Mick Ruddiman said he was awaiting analysis on scientific material.

Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist adjourned Mr Cotten’s matter to November 4, 2022 where he was remanded into custody.

Mr Grant – also charged with murder – was represented by solicitor Neesha Maidwell but did not appear.

Court documents revealed Mr Grant had three charges brought to Friday July 29, 2022 stemming from an alleged incident in Caloundra on May 22, 2022, five days before Ms McIntosh’s death.

The 30-year-old Wurtulla man was due to face Caloundra Magistrates Court on June 14, 2022 charged with evading police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a licence and had been on bail for these offences.

Mr Grant was remanded into custody with all charges being adjourned to November 4, 2022, where he faces one count of murder, two counts of possessing drugs, two of dangerous operation, two of driving without a licence, evading police, possessing a weapon and receiving tainted property.

The shooting death of young Ms McIntosh shook the sleepy seaside suburb of Dicky Beach and the Sunshine Coast.

The 25-year-old was allegedly murdered at a Coolum St home on the morning of Friday, May 27, 2022.

Devastated friends and family described Ms McIntosh as a “loving and caring friend” after her death, with her heartbroken fiance grieving for her while on remand.
