A teenager has been flown to hospital after she fell about 15m from a walking track in the Glasshouse Mountains.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said emergency services were called to Mount Ngungun about 10.30am Saturday to assist the girl – who is in her late teens – after she fell.

“The patient has multiple fractures, including arms and leg injuries,” she said.

“They’re about to move her from walking track.”

The climber was airlifted in a stable condition to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital after the fall.

Paramedics were assessing her for back, leg and arm injuries, with the assistance of Queensland Fire and Rescue and Queensland Police.
