There were tears in a Sunshine Coast courtroom as a former adult entertainer, who was earning up to $1000 a night, awaited her fate after being late landed her in court.

A former Noosa shire adult entertainer wiped away tears in a Sunshine Coast court as she waited to hear if she would be remanded in custody for allegedly breaching her bail.
Cooroibah woman Danelle Skie Tamara West-Sooby, 34, appeared in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court via videolink from the Maroochydore Watch House on May 9, where she made an application for bail.
She sobbed and wiped away tears throughout her appearance.
The court was told Ms West-Sooby faces four charges, including one of breaching her watch house bail from October 24, 2022.
She did not enter a plea.
Police prosecutor Mick Ruddiman said Ms West-Sooby showed contempt for court orders.
Duty lawyer Kylie Anderson said the breach came after her client was 20 minutes late to her compulsory weekly reporting to police.
She did, however, report to police on time on May 8, Ms Anderson said.
In September 2022, Noosa Magistrates Court was told Ms West-Sooby was employed as an adult entertainer, and earned between $500 and $1000 a night.
On Tuesday, Ms Anderson told the court her client was receiving Centrelink payments.
Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist granted Ms West-Sooby bail and she will return to the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on June 12.
