A motorbike rider in his 40s has been rushed to hospital after a crash in a Coochin Creek backyard on Wednesday night.
Paramedics were called to the scene about 7pm, where the man was assessed for chest, leg and shoulder injuries.
He was rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
The crash comes after a young man was rushed to hospital after being hit by a truck on the Bruce Highway.
The 24-year-old Sunshine Coast resident was hit by a semi-trailer on the Sunshine Coast at Black Mountain in the northbound lanes of the highway about 12.30am Wednesday, November 15.
He suffered a “significant head injury” and as of Wednesday afternoon he remained in a serious condition.
