The father-of-three died when his tinnie struck a bridge pylon on the Mooloolah River in Mooloolaba about 12.30am Sunday, June 11.

Sunshine Coast water police Senior Constable Mark Muddiman said the investigation into Mr Eaton’s death continued and a report was being prepared for the coroner.
“The boat’s been seized for inspections and we’ve been canvassing,” he said.
The senior constable said police had spoken to about six witnesses and had viewed CCTV footage, and he called for any witnesses who had not yet contacted police to come forward.
He also said officers would like anyone with CCTV in the vicinity of Tuckers Creek, which runs parallel to Bindaree Cres, who had not yet contacted police, to share their footage.
