A Sunshine Coast home has been partially destroyed by fire overnight.
Firefighters were called to reports of a room on fire in a house on Rosslare St in Caloundra West about 8pm on August 14.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 10 minutes and did a search of the home.
“Everyone was accounted for, crews were on scene for about an hour,” she said.
The spokeswoman said the home was smoke-damaged but the fire had been contained to a room at the front of the house and had not entered the roof.
No one was injured.
This latest incident follows a fire at the weekend that destroyed a home in Aroona.
Sunshine Coast police have launched an arson investigation following the fire in Tarver St on August 12.
Bruce Hwy lane closed for hours after car, trailer jackknife
One lane of the Bruce Hwy southbound was blocked for several hours after a car towing a trailer jackknifed.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Coochin Creek, reportedly between the Roys Rd and Johnson Rd exits, just before 11am on Monday.
A Queensland Police service spokesman said the lane reopened on the highway about 2pm.
A police spokeswoman earlier said it was reported the car had broken down and a trailer it was towing was blocking part of one of the lanes.
Police had been called for traffic assistance, she said.
No one was taken to hospital from the scene.
