A Caboolture woman and her younger female friend have been arrested for their alleged robbery following a “drug exchange” and early morning meet up.

Bianca Louise Alexanderson was granted bail in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday after a bizarre set of circumstances led her being charged with robbery in company and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Bail objection documents tendered to the court say the alleged victim was driving through Marcoola in the early hours of May 17 when he spotted a Holden Commodore driving erratically behind him.

Police allege the 40-year-old man pulled over in a car park due to the Holden’s driving, however the other vehicle followed.

Court documents allege the driver was a younger woman in her 20s and her passenger was Alexanderson.

Detectives allege due to the man’s concern for his safety he exited his car to talk to the women, where they spoke about drugs.

The court heard the alleged victim and the younger woman had a “drug exchange” where she asked for a bit of “green” which the man exchanged for some meth.

The court heard the man swapped numbers with the younger woman who texted him that morning at 2.11am.

Police allege the man received a text from who he believed was the younger woman to meet up at a park in Bli Bli.

Detectives allege in court documents the younger woman and Alexanderson met with the 40-year-old man, where the younger woman hopped into his car.

Police allege Alexanderson appeared to be angry towards the younger woman however she drove off and left her with the alleged victim.

Investigators allege after some chatting the 41-year-old woman returned and yelled at the alleged victim, however the man spoke to the younger woman about “ditching” Alexanderson so they could have some alone time. Police allege they drove off but the man told Alexanderson to to “follow him to the servo”.

Police allege on the way to the service station the man tried to make a U-turn in a street however was blocked by Alexanderson who said “you trying to lose me c---”.

The younger woman left his vehicle and spoke to Alexanderson before she came back and told the 40-year-old man to “get out of the car c---”. He allegedly exited the vehicle and the younger woman drove off with his car, in convoy with Alexanderson in their Holden.

The alleged victim called police who were able to track down the Holden Commodore about 3.16am at Pacific Paradise, however the car allegedly sped away towards Marcoola.

The car was found ditched in a dead-end street, however deployed dog squad police found the two women hiding on top of a parked truck only 20m away from the Holden.

A search of the Holden allegedly found the man’s stolen car keys, but the younger woman denied being involved in the robbery and put the blame on a man named “Steve” who she said was in the car with them when they fled from the car.

Police prosecutor Jeanette Grigoris said the case against Alexanderson was strong as she had been identified by the alleged victim through a photo board.

Sergeant Grigoris said the 41-year-old was seen fleeing the Holden on CCTV with the younger woman and no third person driving the car was captured on the footage.

The police prosecutor said Alexanderson was allegedly a party to the robbery after blocking the man’s vehicle from leaving and shining her high beams on him.

Court documents state the evidence was strong as well due to the alleged victim showing his texts from the younger woman’s mobile number to police.

Duty lawyer Michael Robinson said there were several inconsistencies with the case which included where the alleged victim approached the two women after he was “concerned for his safety”.

Mr Robinson said he also detected the alleged victim’s “sexual interest” in Alexanderson’s younger female co-accused.

The duty lawyer said “something’s happened” but believed it was not accurately recorded in the police allegations before the court, and said the Caboolture woman wasn’t identified as a primary offender.

Acting magistrate Anna Smith said there were certain elements of the case which weren’t properly articulated which also relied on the veracity of the complainant’s evidence.

She granted Alexanderson bail on strict conditions and had her matter adjourned to July 5.
