Beerwah neighbours restrain pair after alleged attempted robbery
Neighbours have come to the rescue after residents were allegedly assaulted by two men who tried to steal their car at their home.

Neighbours have helped a pair restrain two other men at their Beerwah home, following an alleged attempted robbery, until police arrived.
Two men were charged following the incident at Marblewood Pl on April 30.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said police would allege that about 3.50pm two men were at a Marblewood Pl address and tried to steal a vehicle.
Occupants of the home confronted the men.
It is alleged the men then assaulted the two occupants, a man and a woman, who received minor injuries.
The spokeswoman said the occupants of the home and neighbours held the two men until police arrived and the two men were arrested.
The spokeswoman said police would further allege the two men had gone to the same address the night prior and stole car keys and a personal items.
A Beerwah man, 44, was charged with two counts of enter dwelling, one count each of enter premises, attempted robbery and assault.
A 23-year-old Beerwah man was charged with two counts each of enter dwelling, one count each of enter premises, attempted robbery and assault.
The pair was due to appear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on May 1.
