Amanda Louise Tully pleads guilty to drug possession in Pelican Waters

A 22-year-old Kings Beach woman was found with a mystery bag of prescription drugs and a weapon after police searched her car.

A routine roadside check landed a blonde bombshell in court when police found a mystery bag of prescription drugs and a weapon in her car.

Amanda Louise Tully, 22, had been driving through Pelican Waters when she had her car searched by police on March 25, 2022, Caloundra Magistrates Court heard.

Police prosecutor Stephen Potter said police found small amounts of prescription drugs including Viagra, codeine and valium along with a taser, scales and a glass pipe.

Sergeant Potter said Tully admitted that all the items were hers.

The Kings Beach woman represented herself in court and said she had made bad decisions but was seeking help for her drug issues.

Tully pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing s4 medicines, scales, utensils, dangerous drugs and a weapon and was fined $800.

No convictions were recorded.
