Court documents have revealed the alleged links between a suspected father and son drug trafficking team and “street level drug dealers” following a major police sting on the Sunshine Coast.

Police allege Meridan Plains men Kim Andrew White, 48, and his son Marshall Andrew White, 20, were behind a drug supply operation which dealt in commercial amounts of narcotics to other syndicates.

These alleged connections to Maroochy River’s Tyren Luke Wiggins, 19, and Rosemount’s Jayden James Soanes, 23, were revealed in documents tendered in court following the finalisation of Operation Victor Ignite.

The protracted operation concluded on May 23 after the Sunshine Coast Drug and Serious Crime Taskforce laid 25 drug trafficking charges and a further 167 drug and property related charges.

Police allege through wire taps they uncovered Kim and Marshall White’s drug supply operation, which detectives claim began after the 48-year-old’s auto repair business started to fail.

In their investigations, detectives allege they uncovered the inner workings of the Whites’ drug dealing network through lawfully intercepted information.

Court documents allege Marshall White would refer to “seeing” people, which police say referred to “drug deliveries” and to collect “coin” or drug repayments from customers who were supplied narcotics on credit.

Police allege in court documents this included Wiggins, Soanes, and Birtinya man Cruz Adam Potter, 18, along with two juveniles.

According to police, it’s alleged these men appeared to be “street level drug dealers” who sourced commercial quantities of drugs from the Whites, often on credit.

Wiggins and Soanes were arrested in March, with the 19-year-old refused bail while the 23-year-old was granted bail.

Soanes faces seven charges including three counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs while Wiggins faces 14 charges including seven counts of aggravated supply of dangerous drugs to a minor 16 years and over and two of trafficking dangerous drugs.

Cruz was arrested in May but granted bail on Wednesday. He was charged with four offences including one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs. All of their matters remain before the courts.

The juveniles, police allege, worked closely with Kim and Marshall White in their suspected drug trafficking business.

For the older White, wire taps allegedly revealed he referred to “doing rounds”, which police also believed were “drug deliveries” and collected “coin” or drug payments from customers who were supplied drugs on credit.

Court documents state this included four other co-accused who they allege were also “street level drug dealers” who sourced commercial quantities of drugs from them, often on credit.

Police allege through their telephone intercepts Marshall White would on occasion go to customers’ homes to obtain money for drugs supplied on “tick”.

“If the customer did not have money to pay, [Marshall White] would take possession of assets from the customer including vehicles or other property as payment,” court documents allege.

“[The 20-year-old] on occasions would also (allegedly) contact or approach the customer’s parents to make payment on their behalf.”

Further telephone intercepts revealed Kim White also allegedly went to clients’ homes to obtain debts for drugs on “tick” however he would regularly be in company with another person, believed to be there for “intimidation”.

“Kim White would often provide threats of harm towards the customer due to lack of payment,” police allege in bail documents.

“If the customer was not home, Kim White would (allegedly) make contact with their family members to obtain the payment owed for drugs.”

Police raided the father and son’s family home at Meridan Plains on May 21 which allegedly uncovered 15g of cocaine, cash, small amounts of prescription drugs, testosterone, cannabis seeds and multiple electronic devices.

Investigators also allegedly found a loaded black .22 calibre handgun with ivory grips, ammunition, a gaming machine, three rifle scopes, two replica guns, CCTV and USB drives.

Court documents state a luxury vehicle registered to Marshall White with the number plate “YRU WET” was seized which police allege was obtained with money from trafficking drugs.

It’s alleged by detectives both the father and son would continue to commit offences on bail due to their position in the “drug syndicate” and the “ease of selling and distributing drugs to support their lifestyle”.

Bail objection documents allege Marshall White was “prepared” to use violence or threats towards drug customers who owe payments to him and his dad, which was detailed in one intercepted call on November 22, 2023 with co-accused Potter.

“He owes thirteen seven fifty and he wants an O and another half so there’s twelve and he’s given me four today,” Potter allegedly said.

“So he’d wanna come up with it cuz.”

“Well I need a new forby anyway cuz so f--- it”,” Marshall White allegedly replied.

Potter replied “f--- it, what’s he got?”.

Marshall White allegedly replied “Beamer”.

“Oh yeah I want that,” Potter allegedly replied.

“Alright see you soon,” Marshall white allegedly said.

During the 20-year-old’s bail application this week, magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist referred to this phone call, and stated the 20-year-old was allegedly “standing over” someone.

“They’re not talking about ice cream,” Mr Stjernqvist said.

Defence lawyer Nick Crawford said they were snapshots of conversations with no corroborating evidence any of it actually occurred.

Mr Crawford also said it wasn’t an offence to possess a replica firearm and the rifle scopes found wouldn’t form a charge.

Marshall White was granted bail while Kim White was remanded in custody. Both will be mentioned in court on August 2.

The 20-year-old faces 14 charges including four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two of trafficking dangerous drugs and receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying, and one count each of possessing anything used in the commission of crime and unlawful possession of weapons.

His 48-year-old dad faces 12 charges including three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two of trafficking in dangerous drugs and one count each of receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying and unlawful possession of weapons.
