UPDATE 9.20PM:
Popular restaurant Moffat Beach Brewing Co has been confirmed as the venue a Holden Torana ploughed into on Tuesday evening.
Dramatic scenes unfolded on the Seaview Tce strip when the vehicle was seen doing a burnout and then flipping onto its side in the crash.
Moffat Beach Brewing Co bar manager Timothy White said it was "like a bomb went off" when the car smashed into the venue with about 20 to 30 people inside.
"It was kind of like a bomb went off - everyone was scattered, there was broken glass everywhere and everyone was panicking because of the two people on the ground, but everyone was in disarray - they were everywhere," he told ABC.
"Two of our patrons got thrown back into the restaurant and suffered minor injuries I do believe, but everyone else was OK after that, which was thankful."
The Daily understands the 1974 vehicle is registered in Victoria and has a presence online with the drag racing community.
