One of the last beachfront blocks of land at Noosa North Shore is up for sale for $10 million.
The 40.5ha block on Teewah Beach Rd backs onto Noosa National Park and a nature strip, with views from Noosa Heads to Double Island Point.
Tom Offermann Real Estate agent Nic Hunter said the owners of 47 years, the Cameron family, who were well-known to the tight-knit Noosa North Shore community, had made a collective decision to sell up.
“It’s time for them to move on,” Mr Hunter said.
“The property has been enjoyed by the Cameron family over the decades and was very much used as an exclusive camping zone for them.”
The block of land went to auction in April but was passed in.
Mr Hunter said the land was zoned rural-residential, which meant one house could be built on the block.
The real estate agent said most interest had come from wealthy families.
“Local and interstate families have shown considerable interest for a private, secluded land getaway,” Mr Hunter said.
The real estate agent said it was a 20-minute trip from Hastings St in Noosa Heads, via the Noosa ferry, on bitumen road to the property’s front gate.
The real estate agent said his last beachfront sale in the Noosa region was a 25-year-old house on Seaview Terrace in Sunshine Beach for a $18.75 million.
“This land parcel, it’s not just the enrichment of life, it’s fantastic value which will be realised when the sale is complete,” Mr Hunter said.
He did not know what the Camerons had paid for the land in 1975, and there were no records of the last sale in online sales history search engine RP Data.
