A baby has been rushed to hospital overnight following a kitchen fire at Noosa, while two men were injured in a hinterland crash.

Paramedics assessed an adult man and woman and a baby for smoke inhalation on Sunday night on the Sunshine Coast.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the kitchen fire was reported on Noosa Drive at 10pm.

He said there were no actual flames and it believed to be an issue with the stove.

“There was smoke in their room,” he said.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman confirmed this.

The man, woman and baby were reported to be in stable conditions, with the woman and baby taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Later Sunday night emergency services responded to reports of a single vehicle crash at Landsborough.

A QAS spokesman said two men were in the car and suffered minor injuries when it collided with a tree on Lower Mount Mellum Road at 10.23pm.

They were taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
