Police were called to the scene of a sudden death at the weekend and found a body in a Sunshine Coast park with locals sharing their condolences for the family left behind.
Sunshine Coast Police were on scene at a park in Nambour on Sunday, December 1.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman confirmed the death.
She said police were called there at 12.40pm.
The park is at the corner of Huntingdale Dr and Kooralbyn Crt, Nambour.
The QPS spokeswoman confirmed it was a sudden, non suspicious death.
Sunshine Coast locals have shared their condolences online following the tragedy.
“Very sad,” someone said.
“We live right at the park and watched it unfold over nearly three hours … very sad for the family left behind,” somebody said.
“It started pouring with rain … so sad,” another said.
